As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to deliver a high quality product to our customers. You will also be working with a cross-functional team to verify problems, discussing the best and pragmatic solution, and working together to realize it.  We work in an open environment where there are no boundaries or power distance. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and meet the organizational objectives.

What You'll be Doing:

• Lead yearly and quarterly planning to ensure smooth execution and secure the successful delivery of the engineering roadmap.

• Optimize performance by engaging in capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

• Drive teams forward by setting high standards for delivery, code quality, and continuous improvement.

• Design and enhance cutting-edge services with a focus on availability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Maintain high development standards through active participation in code and design reviews.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business growth and engineering excellence.

• Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, fostering career growth and a strong engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable university. 

• Minimum 7 years of Software Engineering experience, including 3+ years in team management.

• Expertise in Java and building complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.

• Strong experience in DevOps practices: CI/CD, microservices, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and security.

• Proven experience leading agile teams (6+ direct reports) and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

• Skilled in defining technical OKRs, KPIs, and roadmaps with a strong sense of ownership.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
