Position: - Engineering Manager (Aerospace Factory 4.0 Application)

Strategy and Leadership:

  • Must be hands on experience on Ignition, Thingworx, Microsoft Azure, Project and Access, with proven skills including Project Management, Timeline management, Resource Management, Supplier Management, Risk Management, Problem solving and played a role of Techno Functional expert.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of smart manufacturing solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, including vision-setting, team motivation, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide guidance to product and platform teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure platforms, as a composable architecture that stands the test of technology variability in manufacturing cloud segment.
  • Champion in business-centric approaches, using data-driven insights to anticipate internal business needs and enhance user experience.

Project Management:

  • Overseeing multiple projects related to Factory 4.0 applications, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize project management methodologies and tools to ensure effective project execution.

Techno functional Expertise:

  • Knowledge about full-stack application development involves developing a responsive user interface on the client side using React JS, the latest web technologies, etc., and server-side development using Node JS, Express JS, Microservices, REST API, and Databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis) for data persistence and retrieval.
  • Drive pragmatic application landscape transformations using Cloud technologies (distributed internet-scale architectures for Microservices, APIs, Event Driven Architecture, Serverless architecture, Caching, etc.)
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL),and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  •  Diligent, forward thinking, and adaptable to dynamic company, customer, and project needs. Successful at motivating teams to meet demanding timeline.

Qualifications:

  • Minium bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on digital transformation and Industry 4.0 and Engineering application technologies.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technology projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, guide, and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
