Engineering Manager
KZValve, LLC – Greenwood, NE
Summary:
The Engineering Manager is responsible for Leading a team of engineers in the completion of various engineering projects. This role involves hiring and training qualified engineering staff, setting project budgets and timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
• Product Development: Oversee the development of new products from initial concept through to production, ensuring they meet market needs and quality standards.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and management to align engineering projects with organizational goals.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work.
• Research and Development: Drive R&D projects to develop new designs, products, and processes.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in an engineering role
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards


Preferred:
• Master’s degree in engineering or business
• Familiar with Ag Industry Equipment
• Experience with OEM driven development
• Project management experience

Position Details:
• Full-Time, Monday through Friday, exempt position
• Position reports to the General Manager
