As an Engineering Manager- Low-Speed Gear Design, you will be responsible for all activities contributing to the design and development of low-speed gearing products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Part of the engineering department executing analysis, test and support work.
As a Engineering Manager- Low Speed Gear Design you will be responsible for:
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Leading a team of engineers and drafters in the design of low-speed gear applications.
- Tracking and reporting team metrics.
- Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise based upon precedents.
- Engaging in customizing projects to client needs. Conveys technical information both to clients and to colleagues in other functions.
- Playing supportive role in knowledge management gathering data and storing them in a system.
- Delivering products as part of a cross functional team.
- Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in machine design
- Previous management experience a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and energize others and lead a small team.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and complete them on time.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD Software, particularly PTC Creo a plus
- In-depth experience in gear design in low speed gear design a plus

- The position requires individuals to be on-site so they can work with the various design and development teams along with supporting the manufacturing operations.
- Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
