Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
- You will lead and manage a team of configuration managers to ensure that all products and systems are configured accurately and efficiently
- You will provide a solid understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and practices
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to properly plan, test, and implement all configuration changes
- You will be responsible for aligning all configuration management activities with organizational goals and objectives
- You will develop and implement configuration management policies and procedures
- You will lead configuration control boards
- You will provide technical guidance, disciplinary responsibility, and support to engineering departments
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
- MSc, PhD or equivalent degree in engineering (enter field) or similar work experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in configuration management
- Practical experience with managing multiple projects
- Experience directly leading teams and individuals
- Excellent communication and leadership skills along with a strong technical background in configuration management
