About the Role:

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our CI/CD Features team. You will play a foundational role in defining Vercel’s CI/CD product strategy, growing the team, and delivering a fantastic experience for our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Grow and support a team of 4 full-stack product engineers
  • Work closely with PM, GTM, and other Engineering partners to define our product strategy based on customer needs
  • Monitor and improve key product metrics like performance, engagement, and usability in order to identify areas of opportunity
  • Set a high standard for code quality, design, and UX architecture
  • Occasionally write and review code to unblock the team

About You:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on development experience in a scaled environment, and at 3 years of full-stack product engineering experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical leadership
  • Experience building and deploying large web projects
  • Firm grasp of web architecture and front-end technologies
  • Deep understanding of React and Next.js best practices
  • Strong sense of accountability and commitment to problem solving, backed by a curiosity to dig deep and identify root causes
  • Willingness to proactively engage with development teams to influence the course of software design and operational practices
  • Capability to manage risk, make decisions, and exhibit sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver long-term projects

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $192,000.00 - $288,000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
