Job Responsibilities:
Corrective Actions:

• Assist in addressing fit/dimensional issues associated with the assigned program at both the customer and supply base.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to implement effective corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement ideas to reduce scrap costs and enhance productivity and product quality.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to determine resolutions to customer issues through root cause analysis.
• Implement necessary process and design changes to address identified issues.

Documentation and Work Instructions:

• Support the creation and timely release of detailed work instructions to guide manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all process-related documentation, including FMEA, control plans, and work instructions, is maintained in proper order.
• Support the Corporate Ergonomics Program by creating videos and assisting in the creation of job assessments

PPAP and PDR Support:

• Support meeting PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements and assist in PDR (Production Design Release) runs.
• Contribute to the success of new equipment run-offs and new program prototype builds.

Cross-Funcational Collaboration:

• Interface with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain FMEA, Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and work instructions.

Risk Reduction:

• Assist the Engineering Team in reducing Risk Priority Numbers (RPNs).

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Currently attending a College or University in the field of Engineering or related discipline (Junior or Senior level status preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective and efficient time management skills
