Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Engineering Intern – eHW Support

The Engineering Intern- eHW Support will be involved in generating material test data, collaborating with design, and manufacturing, assembling test units, conducting endpoint testing, physical teardown, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate material test data using Instron, DSC, TMA, cross-sectioning and other lab equipment
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to test raw materials for programs
• Assemble test units by utilizing soldering, dispensing and other techniques
• Conduct endpoint testing, physical teardown and data analysis

What We’re Looking For

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Metallurgy, Polymer Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing)
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• General interest in the mechanics of materials
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
