About the role
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Engineer to be part of Ocado history, joining us at our newest operational Customer Fulfilment Centre in Luton. As an experienced Engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, becoming the go-to expert for critical technical issues while ensuring smooth operations through proactive improvements and maintenance. From our state-of-the-art conveyor networks to advanced lifts and cranes, you’ll be hands-on with some truly impressive machinery.
You will work a 12-hour shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends to support our 24/7 operation.
About You:
With over five years of experience, you’re a seasoned Engineer with a passion for growth. Ideally coming from an FMCG background, you're comfortable in a fast-paced environment and eager to take on new challenges. You’re not just technically skilled—you’re also computer literate, creative in problem-solving, and dedicated to safety.
If you hold at least an engineering Level 3 NVQ qualification or relevant engineering degree, this is your chance to put your expertise to use in a truly innovative setting. Working safely at height is second nature to you, and you’re ready to contribute to a team that’s redefining the future of technology.
