Role Description

• As a Junior UI Developer, you will work closely with our design and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
• You will be responsible for translating design wireframes into code, ensuring that the final product is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and developers to create and implement user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Translate design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
