The ADEF Team is hiring a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

The key responsibilities of a Test Engineer are as follows:

  • Develop test solutions (Hardware and Software) for derivative products or assist with breakthrough ones.
  • Performs block or shared development with the supervision of a mentor/coach.
  • Participate in hardware development for both final test and wafer sort.
  • Use statistical tools for data analysis and technical presentation.
  • Proactively seeks to identify manufacturing issues and recommend solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields
  • Strong background in electronics, circuit analysis, IC tests, and measurement methods.
  • Knowledge of development tools and programming languages such as Cadence, Visual Basic, C++, etc.
  • Detailed understanding of general test techniques.
  • Experience in new product development and manufacturing release.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related and progressive experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electronics or any related field of study
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and learning sessions.
  • Awareness of ADEF BU markets and its customers.
  • Can provide coaching for emerging engineers.
  • Participate in own career development planning.
