About the Role:

As an Engineer, you will oversee the installation, cloning, administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform. This role demands strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, BMIDE deployments, FMS architecture, deployment center configuration, release management, and scripting, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of system integration to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Perform monthly deployments of Teamcenter PLM and FMEA systems.

  • Set up and maintain test environments for Teamcenter PLM and FMEA.

  • Collaborate closely with other Digital teams for hardware, networking, SSO, integrations, and related activities.

  • Coordinate support efforts with GTAC and drive the resolution of complex technical issues.

  • Implement automated application monitoring and conduct performance tuning to optimize system reliability.

  • Design and maintain the Technical Architecture to ensure uninterrupted operation of the entire PLM ecosystem.

  • Contribute to the Knowledge Base by documenting solutions, creating FAQs, and updating articles to minimize support tickets and promote self-service.

  • Provide integration support by troubleshooting and monitoring connections with ERP systems, CAD tools (Mentor Graphics, Creo, Catia), and other ecosystem tools to ensure seamless data exchange and functionality.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter administration, configuration, implementation, migration, upgrades, and a solid understanding of its architecture, concepts, and components.

  • In-depth expertise in Teamcenter application and data model administration.

  • Proven experience with BMIDE deployments.

  • Skilled in administering modules such as Workflow Designer, Query Builder, Organization, Structure Manager, and reporting tools.

  • Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, and Store and Forward mechanisms.

  • Experience in configuring and managing SSO and SSL security protocols.

  • Practical experience in data migration activities within the Teamcenter environment.

  • Strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

  • Hands-on experience in resolving day-to-day Teamcenter operational issues.

  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing application issues, performing root cause analysis, and managing configurations.

  • Effective communication skills for resolving end-user issues and collaborating with IT teams as required.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong automation mindset with the ability to develop self-governing and self-sustaining application ecosystems.

  • Hands-on experience in managing and deploying Low-Code/No-Code (LC/NC) applications, particularly using Mendix.

  • Proven experience in DevOps practices and release management processes.
