JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare District Cooling System (DCS) design for bid submissions and potential projects using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit to create 2D drawings such as equipment layouts, elevational and sectional drawings, schematic diagrams, etc. and 3D models of buildings which include mechanical and electrical aspects, etc.
- Develop technical write-ups/proposals for bid submissions and potential projects
- Work with Project Development team to generate tender specifications and drawings for tender issuance to contractors and suppliers/vendors
- Liaise with Procurement team to issue tender documents to contractors and suppliers/vendors and evaluate tender submissions
- Review existing district and retail cooling plants’ operations and provide improvement suggestions/plans with a data driven approach
- Liaise with government agencies and IHLs on collaboration/co-development matters on new technology development in the cooling domain
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Professional qualification(s) such as Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessor (EEO Assessor) and/or BCA-registered Energy Auditor will have an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works’ design involving chiller plant systems and/or energy audits of existing projects
• Familiarity with deployment and integration of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar PV) and energy efficient technologies (e.g., energy storage systems) will have an added advantage
• Proficient in using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit
