We are looking for an Engineer, Release Manager to join our Magnite/DV+ team, where you will carry each code deployment across the finish line. You will successfully collaborate across teams to ensure code changes are release ready, scheduled for strategic impact and align with the business goals for our world-class ad server and ad buying platforms .

As an Engineer, Release Manager You Will:

  • Facilitate the release of production-ready code via coordinating scheduling, testing, and deployments related to core product offerings for Magnite’s critical DV+ advertising platforms

  • Manage individual goals, project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise

  • Be a creative problem-solver able to implement reliable and maintainable solutions to challenging problems

  • Document release versions and continuously update process improvements related to releases across multiple teams/projects. 

  • Work with engineers to ensure production-ready code and unit tests that meet both system and business requirements

  • Provide input on feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions

  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver quality software

  • Support operation of services in production

  • Work under the direction of team leads to ensure the highest level of work quality

We’re looking for someone with:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a technical field 

  • Strong organizational skills in project tracking and delivery

  • A strong understanding of Google suite applications. Focused attention to detail and an ability to recognize the business and technical trade-offs between different solutions

  • Experience with development and CI tools like Github and build management system like Jenkins, and Jira  

Nice to Have: 

  • General Ad Technology experience and knowledge of the fundamentals of Ad Tech Ecosystem (SSP/DSP/DMP) 

  • Familiarity with the Agile method/ Scrum/Atlassian suite/ Jira

  • Experience with deployment tools (Rundeck, Jenkins) and data monitoring tools (Grafana, Datadog, etc)

  • General understanding of AWS services (Codebuild, ECS, ECR, S3)

The base salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $100,000 - $120,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time.
