About the Role
You will be responsible for collecting, structure and monitor the stakeholder requirements during the complete lifecycle processes.
What You Will Do
- Define Requirement Engineering Process strategy within project, aligned to project specific process requirements
- Train, coach and support stakeholder (e.g. Functional Owner, Project Leaders, Testers) on requirement analysis and tool usage
- Setup of technical and organizational reference structure (“T + O”) for requirements management
- Setup and maintain DOORS infrastructure (e.g. formal modules, link modules etc.) for the project
- Create and maintain DOORS modules for specification (e.g. GCRS, CRS)
- Provide all necessary import, maintain and export customer requirements in DOORS
- Ensure availability of customer requirement specifications for all project stakeholders in DOORS format
- Define and create requirements baselines
- Organize RFQ Kick-Off meeting for functional owners (in cooperation with Project Manager)
- Distribute customer requirements to stakeholder (e.g. Functional Owner, Project Manager) for analysis and derivation of system requirements
- Clarify ambiguous requirements with internal or external customer
- Track and report missing analysis information
- Track and report completeness of traceability/linking
- Setup and maintain RE specific statistics and report regularly
- Implement formal reviews of technical requirement modules and plan & track content reviews
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of working experience within requirements management
- 5 years’ experience with Requirements Management Tool “DOORS”, Doors DXL script language and Doors exchange mechanism
- Good knowledge of embedded software and system
- Good knowledge of requirements management standard process
- Excellent knowledge of RFI/RFQ process
- Communication and moderation skills
What is Nice to Have
- Qualification for requirements engineers, e.g. “IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering”
- Configuration management rules and tools especially baselining
- Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)
