DUTIES: Contribute to teams responsible for writing automated test code using Agile methodologies, Java, and JavaScript; test microservices using Karate; build microservices using RESTful APIs; use Jira for task management; analyze logs and triage issues using ELK; visualize microservices logs using Grafana; use K6 and JMeter for performance testing; build CI/CD pipelines using Concourse; access cloud servers using Linux; maintain automation codebase in a version control system (GIT, SVN); work with the Development and Product management teams to understand new requirements and write functional/sanity/smoke tests; collaborate with the QA team to translate regression test cases into automation tests; write mock scripts to test error handling and resiliency of the APIs; and perform tests of RESTful micro-services and provide SLA. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field, and two (2) years of experience working with Agile methodologies; using API automation testing tools including Java or JavaScript, and any of the following: Karate, Cucumber, or Rest Assured; using API performance testing tools including K6, Gatling, or JMeter; using Jira or a similar tool for task management; using CI/CD pipeline tools including Concourse or Jenkins; and analyzing logs and triaging issues using Linux, Splunk, Grafana, or similar.
