Internship Job Responsibilities
The Energy Analyst Intern will support the BTU Analytics' Power and Energy Transition team by working on tailored projects focused on analyzing specific aspects of the energy markets and collecting datasets to support analysis. On any given day our analysts may be tasked with a number of analytical endeavors in order to provide our clients with the best information for investment and risk mitigation in the energy markets. We routinely work with solar, wind, battery, and other generation data in search of the best answer for our clients and are expected to articulate the story behind the numbers. Curiosity and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all of the skills necessary to develop sound fundamental analysis.

Qualifications
Working towards a BS or MS in Finance, Economics, Petroleum Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study.

The budgeted amount for this position in the State of Colorado is $26 an hour.
