Job Description

Role Purpose

You will promote the sales of Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to prospective and existing customers from within a defined selected account list, establishing solid and long-term business relationships with the customers and creating profitable business growth. You will be responsible for overall account coordination, including account plan and target setting.

Reporting Line

You will report to End-user Sales Manager, Consumer Industry.

Position Summary

  • Achieve and exceed the annual sales target through the maximization of business opportunities at the specified accounts.
  • Develop and implement account plans for all accounts assigned.
  • Lead the efforts of Rockwell Automation resources to provide Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to the customers
  • Accomplish directly or in collaboration with other resources (i.e. Identify sales and business opportunities, present quotes and proposals, negotiate and close the orders).
  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of quotes, sales proposals, and contracts to the customer in compliance with Company Policies and Standards, obtaining the appropriated approvals.
  • Handle objections and manage a pipeline of opportunities, negotiate profitable deals.
  • Consult with other departments on issues like pricing, product specification, warranties and product adaptation to ensure that we provide the appropriated business and technical solution to the customer need.
  • Collaborate with all sales teams to increase market reach, assure sales coverage and provide appropriated order fulfilment
  • Develop, uses and share success of concepts and ideas to present Rockwell Automation's capabilities.
  • Use a sales CRM to manage the sales pipeline and record information on prospects.
  • Promote the value proposition in presentations and demos with prospects and customers.
  • Manage full sales cycles from prospecting to closing.

The Essentials - You Will Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical sales or account management within the Food and Beverage, Life Science industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling control, information, and automation solutions specific to Food and Beverage, Life Science manufacturing, or hands-on experience within food production or manufacturing operations.
  • Acquire new business with all of our customers.
