Our Employer Brand team aspires to build a compelling and authentic brand that attracts amazing talent globally, and makes employees proud to work at HubSpot. Through creative marketing and content strategies, we amplify HubSpot’s culture externally and help candidates get an accurate and inspiring picture of what it’s like to work here.

We’re looking for an Employer Brand Specialist to take our storytelling to the next level through social media and written and visual content creation. There’s untapped potential in how we tell these stories and connect with candidates around the world.

That’s where you come in.

As an Employer Brand Specialist at HubSpot, you’ll work on a small but mighty Employer Brand team within the People Team. Our team owns channels and projects including HubSpot’s careers website, #hubspotlife social media channels, employer platforms like Glassdoor and Comparably, employee advocacy programs, and recruiter support.

We work collaboratively with Recruiting, Culture, Internal Communications, Social Media, Marketing and Brand, as well as employees across the organization to identify opportunities where employer brand campaigns can have an impact not only on hiring, but in positioning HubSpot globally as a company where people can grow.

We’re looking for someone to join our global team who will evolve and elevate the #hubspotlife brand through thoughtful social content, scale our existing programs globally, and challenge us to think differently. We want big creative thinking with the ability to deliver at pace.

This role is Flex from our Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters (expectation to be in office 1-3 days a month).

In this role, you’ll be responsible for...

  • Managing the HubSpot Life social media channels; over 40k followers combined engage with #hubspotlife content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn Life and YouTube. You’ll be in charge of creating and publishing regular content, managing content calendars for each channel, as well as coming up with new campaign ideas using analytics and feedback from employees, candidates, and recruiters.
  • Helping deliver content for multiple blogs, owning the scheduling and development of content that harnesses HubSpot's cultural energy in ways that are most resonant for our candidate audiences and supports recruitment goals.
  • Evolving our marketing strategy. We’re always asking ourselves: How can we connect with our audience in new and interesting ways? As part of the Employer Brand team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping which platforms we use, which content formats we experiment with, and more.

Candidates who will stand out have...

  • Formal experience managing social media channels and creating social content autonomously. You’ve built social strategies for a company or organization before, and are no stranger to daily publishing across channels, monitoring, and analyzing content performance.
  • Proficiency in organic social media with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. You’re a natural content creator with a knack for integrating cultural trends into social media campaigns.
  • Passion for learning. You’re deeply curious and want to understand what makes people and companies tick. (The best part of this role is that you get to be the eyes and ears of #hubspotlife. Learning new things about the business and sharing employees’ stories is part of the job.)
  • An eye for design. We use (and love!) Canva daily to create content for #hubspotlife and are looking for someone who can quickly learn and use Canva. You don’t need to be an Adobe Illustrator pro, but you should have an eye for graphic design and can comfortably create graphics for social, email, etc.
  • Storytelling skills. Since this role is in charge of social publishing and a variety of content programs, being able to write clearly is critical.
  • No problem putting in the work. This role involves a level of detailed work and you should feel comfortable diving into the details, even if it isn’t the most glamorous.
