AlertMedia is seeking a passionate Employee Experience Manager to champion our mission of fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing workplace. In this role, you will lead and implement innovative programs that enhance the employee experience, ensuring every team member feels supported, valued, and empowered. You will also lead our DEI&B initiatives, driving meaningful progress in creating a culture that celebrates diverse perspectives and backgrounds. By collaborating across teams and leveraging feedback, you will build strategies that attract, retain, and nurture a diverse workforce while aligning with our core values.

You thrive in ambiguity and leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities, measure progress, and continually improve employee engagement. What you get to every day:
- Design and implement DEIB strategies and programs to enhance the overall employee experience to reflect company values
- Lead the development of philanthropy and volunteer programs to foster employee engagement and impact through community partnerships
- Drive employee engagement strategies across various channels (pulse surveys, employee feedback, listening tours, etc.) that improve retention, satisfaction, and productivity
- Support the development and leadership of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and communities to empower employees to connect, grow, and contribute with each other
- Lead the DEIB Committee and partner with them on the execution of the DEIB strategy and programs
- Develop an internal communications strategy and create and publish engaging content across various channels, including email newsletters, slack, program updates, and more
- Own ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) strategy and board reporting, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements
- Manage University Relations efforts to attract and develop early career talent by building strong partnerships with local universities and coordinating campus recruitment, internships, and mentorship programs
- Collaborate and partner with broader People team (L&D, Talent Acquisition, HR) to implement best practices for attracting and retaining a diverse workforce
- Assess impact of programs and effectively track and measure progress; provide updates to various audiences including the leadership and various key stakeholders
- Serve as a culture ambassador, ensuring initiatives reflect our mission and values
- Manage budget and resources for employee experience and culture programs
What you bring to the role:
- 3-5 years of experience leading Employee Experience and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives; HR related experience a plus
- Proven ability to design and implement programs that fosters a culture of belonging and drives engagement
- Strong expertise in aligning employee engagement and DEIB strategies with organizational goals
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with diverse teams
- Solid understanding of best practices in employee engagement, organizational development, and DEIB
- Experience building and managing university relations programs to support talent pipelines and enhance employer branding
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute initiatives effectively
- Strong communication and analytical skills to measure impact and drive meaningful change
- This is an in office, hybrid position (2-3 days a week) in our downtown Austin, Texas headquarters
