Summary/objective:
Angel Studios is seeking experienced email Marketing to deliver top-tier solutions with minimal guidance.
Essential functions
- Plan and Execute Campaigns: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns in Braze and Klaviyo, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Audience Segmentation: Utilize Braze and Klaviyo's segmentation tools to personalize campaigns for diverse customer segments and improve engagement.
- A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests within Braze and Klaviyo to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and delivery times.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) in Braze and Klaviyo to provide actionable insights.
- Email Automation: Build and maintain automated workflows and lifecycle campaigns to nurture leads and drive customer retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative, content, and product teams to design and deliver cohesive and impactful email experiences.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on email marketing trends and leverage Braze and Klaviyo's features to implement cutting-edge strategies.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all email campaigns comply with regulations like CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and adhere to email marketing best practices.
- Content Development: Collaborate on crafting visually appealing and engaging email content, leveraging dynamic personalization features in Braze and Klaviyo.
- Platform Optimization: Manage Braze and Klaviyo platforms, ensuring seamless integrations, efficient use of features, and optimal campaign delivery.

Competencies
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS programming languages.
- Experience in at least one CRM or marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo, Acoustic/IBM Watson Marketing Cloud, Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Pardot, or Act-On. Experience in Braze preferred.
- Strong knowledge of customer journeys, lifecycle campaigns, and segmented communication strategies.
- Ability to take individual ownership, execute with high energy, share context, insist on candor with positive intent.
- In-depth knowledge of email best practices to increase deliverability, engagement, and conversions.
- Self-starter with the ability to seek out opportunities, create an action plan and see it through to fruition.
- Knowledge in email compliance and privacy legislation, both domestic and international (e.g., CCPA, CAN-SPAM; GDPR; CASL).
- Experience executing within established Email, CRM, or Loyalty programs.
- Strong collaborator with excellent presentation, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Detail-oriented perspective and able to pick up on overlooked details.
- Organization and time management.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Can take feedback to tasks and assignments positively and create better solutions.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, computer science, information science technology, or a related discipline.
- 4-5 years of email marketing experience
Preferred education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with email marketing
