General Description:
Join a team in the fabrication of world class semiconductor based infrared focal plane arrays. Experience with hands-on processing of semiconductor devices, circuits, components and/or packaging are strongly desired.
Essential Duties:
Hands-on semiconductor wafer and/or component fabrication, integration, packaging and assembly. Assemble, solder, inspect, and test product at critical steps.
Troubleshoot and resolve process problems. Store, analyze, and retrieve in-line process and electrical characterization data using various software platforms in conjunction with a relational database system. Demonstrate proficiency with other Test/Metrology equipment and respond to queries regarding basic operation.
Perform routine Test and Metrology-equipment monitoring activities and engage with equipment support as needed.
Perform electronics product travelers in accordance to industry standard workmanships.
Required Skills:
Processes associated with semiconductor device and IC fabrication, integration and assembly.
Electronics Solder IAW IPC J-STD-001
Familiar with AS9100 Quality Systems (Assurx, TIPQA, MES Routes/Travelers, etc)
Familiar with operation of power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and network analyzers.
Strong observation and documentation skills; and communication.
Productivity software such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
Required Education:
AS or higher in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
High School Diploma with 8+ years’ experience in a related field.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Special Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $36.79 - $44.87 per hour + bonus + benefits.
