Join our team as an EHS Manager, a vital position responsible for maintaining and improving the safety, health, and environmental standards within an organization and impacting the culture of safety throughout the company. This position will provide leadership for the implementation of EHS standards and policies, expert technical assistance on EHS issues and will partner with functional leadership on compliance, project management, reporting matters and related EHS management issues. The primary purpose of this position is to grow the safety culture to achieve world class EHS performance. This isn't just any job - it's a chance to make a real difference. You'll be the bridge between internal departments and strategic decisions, working closely with our manufacturing and operations teams, R&D and other critical internal teams at PROCEPT. 


What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

  • Compliance Management: Monitoring and ensuring the company complies with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations at the workplace. 
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize workplace risks. Partnering with customers within the organization to ensure these strategies are implemented and internalized
  • Safety Program Development: Creating and maintaining comprehensive safety programs, including emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and safety drills. 
  • Employee Training: Providing safety training to all employees on relevant safety procedures, hazard recognition, and emergency response. 
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. 
  • Auditing and Inspections: Developing a robust safety audit program that engages partners within the organization to help identify and educate employees to identify non-compliance issues and potential hazards. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracking safety performance metrics, analyzing incident data, and generating reports for management. 
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating safety policies and procedures to employees, engaging with management on safety concerns, and collaborating with other departments on safety initiatives. 
  • Contractor Management: Overseeing safety compliance for external contractors working on-site. 
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Contributing to developing and implementing environmental sustainability practices within the organization.

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in EHS working for high tech – medical device, semiconductor, biotech or similar industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, engineering, or another related field.
  • Board certified ASP, OHST, CSP, QEP, CIH or other recognized certification/diplomas AND Technical/Management expertise in the areas of Human Operation Performance (HOP), Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Machine Guarding, Behavior Based Safety (BBS), ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and EHS related systems are preferred.

This role's anticipated base pay range is $145,00-155,000 per year. 

Plus, there is eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY

Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
