Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to kick-start your career in Environmental, Health, and Safety? Do you want to join a global food manufacturing company that values employee health and safety? We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an EHS Coordinator to join our team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct routine EHS inspections and risk assessments within our operations.
  • Support and lead investigations.
  • Coordinate and conduct EHS training programs for team members.
  • Liaise with operational team members to develop return to work programs and periodically check in with injured workers.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to our EHS programs and initiatives, including training, audits, and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and Food Safety Quality teams to ensure EHS practices are integrated into daily operations.
  • Assist the EHS and Utilities Managers in the development and implementation of sustainability and environmental initiatives, including waste reduction and energy efficiency programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external EHS audits.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and lead initiatives that drive a proactive safety culture.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.


About You:

  • Strong time management, verbal communication and written communication skills.
  • Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety, or working towards a qualification (Essential)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
  • Qualifications or experience working with safety databases & systems (e.g. 9001, 45001, or 14001) (Desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
