Role

The Editorial Operations Associate will provide critical support for Reorg’s editorial team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers. You will report to the Senior Editorial Operations Manager and will be in charge of managing a calendar of hearings and events, maintaining databases, and tracking internal content calendars. You will work closely with analysts, editors and other Operations Associates to continuously improve and expand event tracking and data. You’ll also collaborate with operations, tech, product, and other teams to improve and streamline processes that help drive Reorg’s content and data.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calendar of events that tracks court hearings, case deadlines, regulatory deadlines, congressional hearings, earnings reporting and other coverage events
  • Extract relevant dates and information from court filings, company press releases and other sources
  • Collaborate with operations team and other editorial staff to identify critical event details and to improve event tracking 
  • Research court-specific details about events
  • Build and oversee internal calendar of digests, quarterlies, league tables and other regularly published content
  • Work with operations, data, technology and other teams to develop and enhance processes and systems that help drive content across the broader editorial team

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent
  • Genuine interest in financial news and legal proceedings 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Experience in Excel / Google Sheets, data and databases
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys creative problem-solving and looks to take on new challenges
  • Top notch time management
  • Curious and proactive approach to learning the role
  • You will be required to work an 8-hour shift with hours between 8am and 7pm EST
  • Experience with Monday.com and/or other project management programs is not required, but is a plus
