Role

We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee our Pakistan Editorial Team as it grows and evolves. 

As the team leader, you will be pivotal in guiding day-to-day editorial operations, recruiting for new roles, and serving as a key liaison across regions to facilitate training, set goals, and align with broader organizational objectives. Success in this position requires strong editorial expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas, issues, and solutions clearly and effectively with senior leadership, regional managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Training Expertise: Ability to train others or follow established training protocols across editorial operations functions.
  • Credit Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid understanding of the credit lifecycle and its application to business processes.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Committed to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving positive change in workflows and processes.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Trusted partner to Financial Analysts, SW, and CE leads, fostering strong working relationships and alignment across teams.
  • Business and Regional Knowledge: Consistently learns and demonstrates understanding across the business and regions; able to pivot to support SW and CE teams in adapting and evolving.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively suggests and implements changes to workflows and processes to align with business needs and goals.
  • Cross-Functional Management: Skilled at managing cross-functional projects, balancing direction from regional leads with the ability to act independently when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in financial journalism or editorial
  • 3+ years of management experience 
  • College degree
  • Strong command of the English language, written and spoken
