Job Description:
If you are passionate about delivering a best-in-class experience for pet parents on direct to consumer platforms, Mars Pet Nutrition has the perfect eCommerce Operations Specialist position available.
Reporting into the Connected Commerce Director, this role is responsible for owning the daily operations and long-term optimisation of our direct-to-consumer platform. You will be crucial in driving excellent customer experiences, whilst managing the backend integrations and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiencies as part of continuous improvement.
Please note that this is a 7-month maternity leave contract.
What are we looking for?

Strong experience in eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce, Business Central) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, email marketing)

Experience working across the backend systems & interdependencies required for purchase fulfillment, supply, pricing and promotions

Confident in project management and working with cross-functional teams

Strong interpersonal & influencing skills

Proactive, ability to demonstrate leadership to build, develop and adjust
What will be your key responsibilities?

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of direct to consumer and professional, including forecasting, performance, onsite merchandising, website functionality and user experience as well as working with supply to monitor order issues

Shopify platform owner and expert, ensuring smooth integration with other platforms such as SAP, Business Central, Salesforce etc

Optimise the current D2C ecosystem, making recommendations on how to make the existing processes and flows more efficient

Project management of cross-functional projects that improve functionality and efficiency

Manage and analyse monthly reporting on agreed platform performance metrics of the D2C ecosystem along with any observations, insights, recommendations

Support the Connected Commerce team on executing projects across the pillars as required e.g. Content creation, automation opportunities

Support to the broader eCommerce team in the adoption & embedding of new technology, tools and processes

Work closely with the Connected Commerce Director ANZ to identify & understand opportunities in emerging channels.
