Position Summary:

Ingram Micro's Emerging Business Group (EBG) provides new, innovative, and complementary technologies to our partners. The EBG team focuses on identifying and nurturing emerging vendors to help them engage with partners and expand their market reach. This group is crucial for Ingram Micro as it allows us to stay ahead of the curve and offer our partners access to the latest and most promising technologies.

EBG Customer Experience Representatives are focused on proactively delivering and maximizing outcomes for customers and their vendor(s) to include items such as: recruitment, training & enablement, end-customer acquisition, pipeline development, and upgrades/cross-sell initiatives utilizing platform data.
As an EBG Customer Experience Representative within our platform company, you will play a key role in enabling sales for a select number of new, emerging vendor lines. Serving as a category subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, vendors, and customers to provide valuable insights, product knowledge, program expertise, and exceptional service. Your knowledge of the vendor and/or solutions category, in addition to strong communication skills, will enable you to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the customer/category.
What you bring to the role:

  • Experience as an Individual contributor on a project or work team.

  • Familiarity with computer operations, with a solid grasp of Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Outlook

  • Experience in a sales or solutions role within the technology industry, preferably with a focus on platform products or services is preferred.

  • Ability to grasp technology concepts and articulate their value.

  • Experience in customer service with strong communication skills, especially written.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Strong aptitude for numbers and mathematics

  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment

  • Works on projects of limited scope and complexity. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

  • Theoretical knowledge is typically acquired from advanced education.

  • Typically requires a four-year college degree or equivalent customer service and/or sales experience and 0-2 years customer service and/or sales experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $45,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
