The future of insurance starts with AI. To date, Shift Technology's AI-powered products have benefitted more than 300 million policyholders globally by reducing underwriting risk, identifying more fraud, and automating critical tasks throughout the claims process.  Shift harnesses the power of AI to enable the world’s leading insurance organizations to make better decisions. Our products help insurers improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver superior customer experiences to their policyholders.  Our culture is built on innovation, trust, and a drive to transform the insurance industry by imagining and innovating solutions that impact insurers and their customers - like you! We come from more than 50 different countries and cultures and together we are creating the future of insurance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented Early Talent Program Specialist to join our Recruiting team.  You will be at the heart of our internship program, helping to bring new interns/apprentices onboard and ensuring they have an amazing experience during their time with us. In addition, you'll be collaborating with teams across the company and partnering with teammates from across the People Team to support and drive the success of business critical programs that helps Shift grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Find our next group of great Shifters: You’ll build and leverage relationships with top-tier universities and create and manage events to identify, assess, and hire our interns and entry level hires globally.
  • Create memorable experiences: From supporting their onboarding to organizing team-building events and professional development workshops, you’ll ensure our interns have opportunities to learn, and feel connected and supported.
  • Collect valuable feedback: You’ll gather feedback from both interns and managers and use data to continuously improve the program.
  • Track progress: You’ll help monitor intern performance, ensuring they are developing the skills and receiving feedback that they need to succeed.
  • Work with a cross functional team: You’ll collaborate with HR, Hiring Managers, and Leaders, to ensure the program aligns with strategic business goals and delivers expected outcomes.
  • Get creative: Help us improve the program by suggesting new ideas and finding ways to make the end-to-end internship experience even better.
  • Learn and grow:  You'll have opportunities to work on tasks and initiatives across Recruitment, HR, ESG, Compensation/Benefits, and Learning and Development.

We anticipate that the Early Talent Programs will take about 60% of your time and other projects across the People Team will be about 40% of your time.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Fluent/native in French and have advanced level in English (B2 minimum) with excellent verbal and written skills in both languages
  • A problem-solving mindset—challenges don’t faze you, you find solutions.
  • An excitement for building relationships externally, with candidates, and within Shift.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new projects with enthusiasm.
  • Previous experience in program management, recruitment, HR, or internships is preferred but not required.

In order to best connect with interns and teams, and work with other HR colleagues in the Paris office, we require this role to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
