Your Mission:   

You will play a critical role in taking a rapidly growing business in a dynamic industry to the next level. We need a driven, adaptable, and energetic Account Executive (AE) to help us grow our customer base and revenue as well as expand our sales and marketing initiatives. 

Your Role:        

Your primary objective is to accelerate our revenue growth by closing new and expansion business opportunities. You will lead product demos for prospective and existing customers, while optimizing our inbound and outbound sales processes.

We are looking for a self-motivated, collaborative individual who loves solving challenging problems and is hungry to learn. You will work directly with the CFO and the CEO to implement, execute, and evolve e-Courier’s sales go-to-market strategy. You will be pivotal in driving various sales and marketing initiatives, such as building outbound campaigns, helping us expand into new markets, and building new sales collateral to resonate with the changing industry.

Responsibilities:     

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new and upsell business opportunities, demonstrating strong salesmanship and a hunter mentality
  • Conduct thorough market research to gain insights into target industries, segments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Own deals from demo to close. Deliver compelling and persuasive product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the company value proposition and key product features with enthusiasm and conviction.
  • Drive negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, employing persuasive tactics and a results-driven mindset
  • Meet or exceed assigned quota for generating sales from new business and existing customers
  • Provide proactive support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process, including addressing inquiries, overcoming objections, and ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate closely with the broader sales org and marketing team to develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Share customer and prospect insights and feedback across Sales, Product, Customer Success
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools adeptly to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs, adapting sales strategies and tactics accordingly with a relentless focus on driving results
  • Represent e-Courier in the market with incredible integrity and professionalism

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within early stage SaaS businesses
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quota
  • Experience in SMB, Mid-Market, or Enterprise sales, including managing deals ranging from $5k to $150k ACV
  • Strong understanding of sales process, software demonstrations, and follow-up cadence
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (preferred) or comparable CRM 
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and methodologies, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to excellence, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate challenges and overcome objections during the sales process
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a genuine interest in helping clients solve business challenges through SaaS solutions
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills

Additional Information:

  • Location: Fully remote company – work from wherever you like
  • Compensation: Competitive compensation, including base salary of $80,000-$100,000 and OTE ranging from $135,000-$165,000
