Micron's Embedded DEG Product Engineering (PE) team is seeking a hardworking Product Engineer to join our versatile team in Manassas, VA (relocation provided for qualified candidates). This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work on innovative projects that define the boundaries of technology in Automotive DRAM solutions. You will be a member of a synergistic/dynamic team where your contributions will help craft the future of Micron’s DRAM products.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and validate process conditions and product testing programs.
  • Identify and build specialized testing for new fail modes to maintain high standards.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams to ensure flawless integration and communication.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to validate that products meet industry and Micron standards.
  • Debug and analyze failures to implement outstanding electrical detection methods.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Technical understanding of DRAM Technology - This includes architecture, design, testing, and failure analysis. Proficiency in semiconductor physics, memory testing methodologies, and statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python, etc.).
    • Problem solving & data analysis skills - Ability to analyze large datasets to identify yield, performance, and reliability issues. Experience with failure analysis techniques, root cause identification, and continuous improvement strategies.
    • Multi-functional teamwork - Experience working with process integration, design, test, and manufacturing engineering teams to drive product improvements. Strong communication skills to present findings, influence decisions, and implement solutions optimally.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1-3+ years experience in a related engineering role.
    • Intimate understanding of VLSI and semiconductor device physics.
    • Outstanding collaboration and partnership values and ability to help strengthen teams across different roles.
    • A strong dedication to maintaining high standards and reaching challenging technical goals.
