We are currently seeking a Document Administration Consultant – Print/Mail Buyer specifically responsible for print buying and direct mail coordination. Responsibilities include building relationships with internal clients and print/mail production vendors and managing product delivery by coordinating with clients, team members, and suppliers on all matters relating to print and direct mail. The primary focus of this role is to use your print and direct mail expertise to ensure that the appropriate vendors are selected, print and mail work is delivered on time, within budget and with excellent quality, and that internal procedures are always followed in a highly regulated industry.  

 

What you’ll do  

  • Act as an internal consultant to employees at all levels of the company to provide guidance on projects and planning resources to meet production deadlines for projects like print and mass mailing production, inventory, kitting, and fulfillment.  

  • Build relationships with internal clients and manage their perceptions and expectations, particularly regarding production timing and budgets. 

  • Assess project requirements and provide production options; help establish baseline cycle times and budgets for recurring project types. 

  • Manage vendor relationships, including vendor selection in both RFPs and by project, vendor site visits, and evaluating vendor performance with scheduled reviews.  

  • Coach internal customers on document administration project procurement policies and procedures. 

  • Resolve issues and customer complaints, quality, or delivery issues.  

  • Ensure best practice procedures, regulatory, and compliance requirements are followed. 

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven professional experience with print and mail production, scheduling, consultation, and procurement. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a minimum of 4 years’ work experience (Required). 

  • 3 years’ consulting, analyst, project management, procurement, or related business experience with increasing responsibility (Required). 

  • Proven professional experience with managing preferred partnerships with vendors. 

  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in various stages of completion. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. 

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and record keeping skills, with ability to do error-free detailed work.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$78,000.00 - $115,100.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
