Job Description:
The Bureau d’Exploitation (Bex) is a central key player for the maintenance, he prepares, creates Work Orders and checks maintenance tasks for short term planning. In coordination with the team responsible, he plans the work during a suitable grounding time of the helicopters. He gathers information for the execution of the maintenance task in accordance with the MOE of the customer. He completes the current existing management tool (ILIAS) to record all works performed and assures the follow up through the same mgt tool (ILIAS). He analyzes and finalizes the update of the log cards, makes sure all data are accurate and recorded. He reports the issues occurring within his scope of responsibility and try to find a suitable solution within his available resources. He controls through the mgt tool (ILIAS) the remaining potential before the next maintenance in order to ensure a serviceable helicopter for the planned flights. He updates the status of the helicopters keeping it as accurate as possible.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Preparation of the inspection in regard to the availability of:
- Spare part, consumable
- Qualified technicians
- Required ground time of the H/C
b. Optimalisation of planning, logistics and administration:
- Follow-up the daily situation of the inspection
- Follow-up the jobs (WOs) performed and jobs to execute.
- Follow-up the logistic situation
- Follow-up the reported problems
- Assist technicians and task leaders with problem solving
- Management of the administrative tasks
c. Assures the correct follow-up of administrative procedures by technicians using customer existing tools and forms (FORM, ILIAS, Spare Request, IR, Additional works, Belgian Defense FORM ...)
d. Report and discuss problems with management and BTA (Bureau Technique Analyze)
Acts as the point of contact within the AMO between the different stakeholders Good knowledge of procedures and customer MOE. Makes prognoses with regard to the future availability of materials and production aids and identifies possible future shortages. Identifies planning conflicts with regard to planning of material and planning aids for (multiple) maintenance tasks addresses them to management, and applies corrective measures Performs inbound and outbound quality checks on repairable parts’ documentation (CoC/DAIN, repair forms, log cards) and reports discrepancies or non-compliance.
INTERRELATIONSHIPS
- Reports directly to the customer’s management in his domains of responsibility.
- Remains in close contact with LCAMO - Maintenance Planning and BTA with regard to planning of maintenance activities and related maintenance procedure requirements;
- Liaises with the store manager and communicated the material requirement knowing the logistical process.

The BEx must be able to work with almost no supervision. He must be able to show initiative and be adaptable to carry out a wide variety of tasks in order to achieve the above job responsibilities, the BEx will demonstrate the following competences:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Have a relevant experience in AMO-145, in maintenance execution and planning. Relevant knowledge of airworthiness regulations in the area of 145; Have a thorough knowledge of the English language (in writing as in spoken language) + for technical English). Have been technicians working in aircraft maintenance environment. Have experience in supply chain management.
