Department OverviewThe Global Enterprise Operations team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Program Manager to drive operational excellence within our North American distribution channel.
Job Description
The Distribution Program Manager will report directly to the Director of Channel Strategy and Programs and will play a critical role in optimizing sales programs, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of our products and services to our customers.
Program Management:

Develop, implement, and manage distribution programs, aligning strategies with overall channel and sales goals.

Analyze historical data and industry trends to optimize program effectiveness and predict customer buying patterns.

Monitor and report on program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), collaborating with Finance and Data teams to identify areas for improvement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution channel, leveraging best practices and data-driven insights.
Sales Operations Support:

Provide operational support to the field sales team, ensuring clear communication of partner programs and addressing transactional issues.

Partner with sales to manage relationships with distribution partners, fostering strong collaboration and ensuring alignment with program objectives and standards.

Identify and implement operational solutions to streamline sales processes and enhance efficiency.
Relationship Management:
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, understanding their business needs and recommending solutions to deliver value.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Finance, IT) to ensure seamless execution of distribution programs and optimal customer experience.
Training & Development:
-
Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for internal teams and distribution partners, enhancing knowledge and skills related to channel programs and operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in channel operations, sales operations, or a similar role within the wholesale distribution industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven Project Management Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience successfully managing complex projects across diverse teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, prioritize tasks, and deliver results on time and within budget. Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.

Strong Analytical Capabilities: Exceptional data analysis skills, including experience with data mining and other tools for identifying trends, insights, and opportunities. Proven ability to interpret data, develop clear recommendations, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and drive integrated growth programs, utilizing data-driven insights to target appropriate customer segments. Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify growth opportunities.

Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Comfortable interpreting financial data and making sound financial decisions.

Continuous Improvement: Experience with implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Demonstrated ability to make sound, data-driven decisions in a timely manner.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the video surveillance & access control market.

Leadership and Teamwork: Experience leading and motivating teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Travel: Willingness to travel within North America (up to 25-50%).

Prior Experience: Background in Channel/Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
