Job Summary

Responsible for directing controllership related to treasury activities across the company. Provides leadership and works with treasury department and divisions to establish and maintain appropriate process and controls related to financial reporting. Evaluates, develops and implements strategy for functional area. May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Key leadership role, with oversight responsibilities, in external and internal financial reporting related to enterprise treasury activities.
• Works with treasury department and enterprise treasury accounting team to evaluate process and controls around financial reporting.
• Technical accounting resource for the company in the areas of financial instruments, including investments, debt and derivatives, and foreign currencies.
• Acts as a liaison between the company and external auditors to facilitate procedures around treasury activities.
• Reviews periodic financial information to assist in the accurate preparation of the Company's financial statements in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, which includes collecting and analyzing financial data related to treasury activities.
• Works with treasury department and enterprise treasury accounting team regarding compliance with company policies, trust indentures, debt covenants, rules, regulations and laws; and stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audit guidelines affecting areas of responsibility
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
