Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Temporary Structures to lead our temporary structures sector. This role will oversee business development, operations, client relations, and project execution for temporary structures. The ideal candidate has a strong background in temporary structures, industrial services, or construction logistics, and can effectively balance client needs with operational execution and profitability.

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000+ base plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee end-to-end project planning and execution, including site assessments, permitting, installation, and removal.
    • Coordinate with logistics, field crews, and safety managers to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry standards.
    • Optimize inventory utilization and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Market Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, and large-scale construction.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and procurement officers.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers to support scalable deployments
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and grow a high-performing team of project coordinators and field staff.
    • Provide training and support for team development and performance improvement.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Set and manage departmental budgets, revenue targets, and margin goals.
    • Monitor KPIs and produce regular performance and forecasting reports for executive leadership.
  • Risk and Compliance:
    • Ensure projects adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and client-specific compliance requirements.
    • Lead risk assessment processes and implement continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in temporary structures 
  • Proven leadership in operations
  • Strong understanding of industrial job site protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts and complex projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites and project locations as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in tent, structure, or modular building rentals
  • Knowledge of OSHA and relevant safety standards
  • Experience in coordinating with industrial construction sites
