Position Summary:
The Director of Technology is responsible for developing and executing Straub Collaborative’s IT strategy and ensuring the efficiency, security, and scalability of our production and e-commerce platforms. This role also leads the integration of AI and automation, manages IT infrastructure, and oversees enterprise governance to support business growth and innovation.
Key Accountabilities and Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the management, security, and optimization of production and e-commerce platforms.
- Lead AI-driven automation and workflow enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure IT infrastructure scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, software development, and IT support functions.
- Direct and mentor IT staff, fostering a high-performance and innovative culture.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing costs and investments.
Position Duties:
IT Infrastructure & Security:
- Maintain, update, and scale IT systems, ensuring cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee network architecture, cloud computing, and data management solutions.
- Implement disaster recovery plans and data protection policies.
Platform Management & Optimization:
- Ensure seamless integration and operation of production and e-commerce platforms.
- Evaluate and enhance digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve technology-driven efficiencies.
AI, Automation & Innovation:
- Lead AI/ML-driven process automation initiatives.
- Identify emerging technologies to improve workflows and scalability.
Team Leadership & Governance:
- Recruit, train, and develop IT personnel, fostering innovation and accountability.
- Establish IT governance policies, enterprise architecture standards, and compliance measures.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on technology trends and opportunities.
Experience:
- 7+ years leading technology departments, scaling IT infrastructure, and managing development teams.
- Experience in OS X, iOS systems, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
- Proven expertise in AI-driven automation, machine learning, and workflow optimization.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and network architecture.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 administration, Apple hardware, and creative production environments.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
