Overview of the Team

The IPC Innovations Team is a key part of the Chief Operating Transformation Officer (COTO) long-term strategy, dedicated to exploring emerging technologies and developing solutions to drive IPC’s strategic growth and adaptability. Operating independently yet aligned with IPC’s product and technical standards, the team focuses on pioneering advanced technology solutions that meet evolving financial market needs.

A primary focus of the Innovations Team is OneCall, IPC’s next-generation voice application, which enables seamless voice integration across financial trading applications. By leveraging cutting-edge AI and voice technologies, OneCall enhances voice trading workflows, making IPC the foundational technology for voice-enabled financial markets.

Beyond OneCall, the team is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering customer-centric solutions that integrate IPC products with emerging technologies and partner applications. Playing a critical role in shaping IPC’s future offerings, the Innovations Team ensures IPC remains at the forefront of financial technology advancements, delivering solutions that anticipate market demands and foster enhanced customer engagement.


Role Overview

The Director Technical Operations (DTO) plays a critical role in driving IPC’s OneCall project and other key innovation initiatives. The primary focus of the DTO is to oversee the design, development, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and support of OneCall, IPC’s next-generation voice application. This includes ensuring seamless execution across all technical phases, optimizing performance, and continuously evolving the platform to meet the needs of financial markets.

Beyond OneCall, the DTO leads the execution of other IPC Innovations Team projects, ensuring they align with IPC’s long-term strategy and technical standards. The role involves managing cross-functional teams to deliver emerging technology solutions that enhance IPC’s position as a leader in financial technology.

The DTO is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of OneCall, from architecture design to production deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Managing technical operations for innovation projects, including platform integrations, AI-driven capabilities, and partner application collaborations.
  • Leading support and upgrade strategies to maintain and enhance OneCall’s functionality, ensuring it evolves with market needs.
  • Collaborating with IPC’s product, technology, and sales teams to align innovation efforts with business priorities and customer demands.
  • Defining strategies, roadmaps, budgets, and project scopes for OneCall and other innovation projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Driving customer engagement and adoption of OneCall, supporting the sales team in positioning IPC’s voice solutions as a critical component of financial trading infrastructure.

This role demands strong technical leadership, operational expertise, and business acumen to successfully bridge IPC’s product innovation with market execution. As the Director Technical Operations (DTO), you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of OneCall and IPC’s broader innovation initiatives. Your leadership will drive the design, deployment, maintenance, and continuous evolution of OneCall, ensuring it remains a cutting-edge, scalable, and fully integrated voice trading solution for financial markets. By optimizing performance, security, and reliability, you will shape OneCall’s market adoption and its role in transforming voice-enabled trading workflows.

Beyond OneCall, you will oversee IPC’s innovation team projects, ensuring emerging technologies are strategically integrated into IPC’s product ecosystem. Through close collaboration with product, technology, and sales teams, you will align digital transformation efforts with business objectives, driving customer engagement and competitive differentiation. Your ability to bridge technical operations with strategic execution will ensure IPC’s innovations deliver lasting market impact, solidifying the company’s position as a leader in next-generation voice trading solutions.

Additional Information:

As the Software Architect in the Innovation team, you have the flexibility to work three days remotely and two days in the office, with office days typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Additionally, after-hours and weekend work, as well as occasional travel abroad, may be requested in accordance with company agreements. This could be to support the deployment of customer solutions or to collaborate with international teams.
