What We Need:
Synapse Health is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement robust recruitment strategies to attract top talent to our organization. This is a player-coach, high-impact role that requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with the ability to execute all aspects of the recruitment process while guiding the broader strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading & developing a team of Talent Acquisition Partners across all functions in high growth & high bar environments. What You Will Do:
- Inspire and develop a team of consultative and strategic Talent Acquisition Partners skilled at tactfully sourcing, attracting, assessing, and hiring at a high bar to meet our goals and support our mission.
- Drive rigor on talent acquisition processes focusing on continuous improvement to ensure we have a consistently high touch and positive experience for candidates, hiring managers, and hiring teams.
- Design and execute innovative resourcing and recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent across all functions/levels.
- Partner and align with hiring teams to understand and identify talent forecasting, trends and sourcing strategies that enable us to never settle and always improve our quality of hires.
- Conceptualize recruiting dashboards and create the capability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations, using reporting and metrics to track and drive improvements in recruiting processes.
- Negotiate contracts with external partners and vendors to support talent acquisition efforts as needed.
- Partner with finance teams to regularly review budgets, organizational design requirements and headcount plans.
- Build and implement recruitment marketing efforts to position Synapse Health as an Employer of Choice.
What You Have:
At Synapse Health we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. Additional requirements include:
- 12+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing a TA team.
- Previous experience in healthcare and/or Greenhouse preferred.
- Proven ability to source and hire top talent.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Adept at balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, actively managing recruitment processes.
- Extensive experience managing external recruitment agencies, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, building trust and collaborating effectively with hiring managers and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of using data to drive improvements in recruitment processes.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance recruitment outcomes.
