Our site in Hillerød, Denmark, brings together expertise, capabilities and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics. When current expansions are complete in 2026, Hillerød will be home to the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO in Europe offering a total of 20 X 20,000 L bioreactors for drug substance production complemented by comprehensive drug product and finished goods services.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Project Management:

Oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment of projects with strategic goals.

Establish and refine project governance structures and frameworks to achieve superior execution and delivery.

Lead strategic planning sessions with senior executives to identify and prioritize high-value initiatives.

Close cooperation with other FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) sites shaping strategic directions
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:
-
Drive a culture of excellence through the implementation of advanced Lean, Six Sigma, and other innovative methodologies. The site is inspired by the Shingo Model of Operational Excellence and use this as the benchmark for the continuous improvement culture we are striving to create.

Develop and execute comprehensive operational improvement strategies that enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.

Serve as a key advocate for process innovation and best practices across the organization.
Executive Collaboration & Change Leadership:

Collaborate with the Site Leadership Team to craft and communicate comprehensive business strategies.

Lead large-scale change management programs to enable organizational transformation and ensure sustainable change.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations based on industry trends and internal performance data.
Analytics & Performance Management:

Establish and oversee metrics for project management excellence and operational efficiency.

Utilize advanced data analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Prepare and present high-level performance reports to executive leadership and board members.

Effectively establish and lead a team of four within the PMO context to ensure productivity, collaboration, and overall team success.

Establish a clear vision and motivate your team to achieve common goals fostering unity and purpose.

Create a safe and supportive environment for the team members to be themselves, promoting authenticity and inclusivity.
This new role will report to the General Manager SVP, Head of Site FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Denmark. The position offers a hybrid work environment, blending remote flexibility with the requirement for regular onsite presence. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the FDBD site consistently to effectively collaborate with teams, drive initiatives, and ensure ongoing alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional vision and strategic leadership, capable of steering transformational projects with clarity and direction. Excellent stakeholder engagement is crucial, as you will collaborate closely with site management and various teams across the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions. Expertise in change management is necessary to drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate smooth transitions. Additionally, high-level influencing and negotiation skills will empower you to advocate for strategic initiatives and secure buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
We also expect you to have:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

15+ years of progressive experience in project management and operational excellence, with substantial leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Expert knowledge and certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Master Black Belt or insights to the Shingo Model of Operational Excellence preferred).

Proven track record of success in leading and delivering complex, transformative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at the highest levels of the organization.
