Position Overview
The Director of Strategic Programs and Chief of Staff (CoS) will act as a trusted partner to the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), providing high-level strategic support and ensuring that key business initiatives are executed effectively. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, analytical skills, operational excellence, and leadership to help scale the company, drive alignment, and enhance decision-making. This role will report to the CSO.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor and sounding board to the CEO and CSO, providing insights and recommendations on key business priorities.
- Working with executive team, develop and iterate our 3-year strategy.
- Manage cross-functional projects to execute our strategy and ensure alignment across teams.
- Lead and oversee special projects, acting as an extension of the CEO in high-impact initiatives.
- In partnership with the CSO, identify acquisitions and lead key parts of M&A and post-merger integration.
- Prepare and coordinate executive communications, including board materials, investor updates, and internal messaging.
- Facilitate executive team meetings, ensuring follow-ups and accountability on key action items.
- Anticipate business challenges and proactively develop solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree & MBA
- 5+ years’ experience in strategy roles for SaaS company, Consulting Firm or multi-national corporation.
- Experience, network and positive references in the Consulting, Legal or CLM industry a plus
- Critical skills include project management, research, and analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Track record of delivering strategic initiatives that yield measurable business results
- Goal-oriented with proven ability to build and work in a matric with high-performing teams
- Strong capabilities in building and executing M&A strategies
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills
- Demonstrated success working within a globally distributed organization
- A human-centric leadership approach that acknowledges and appreciates everyone’s unique contribution to the business.
- Fosters intra-team and inter-departmental collaboration through leading by example
- Ability to travel globally between 10-15%.
