As Director, Strategics Initiatives, you will manage the day-to-day business operations function within the leadership team. With a blend of business planning, management and strategic experience, you will embrace connecting and strengthening a cross functional leadership team as well as cross organizational partners to drive results that align with company objectives.
Role Responsibilities

Manage strategic planning cycles to ensure cross departmental clarity and transparency of priorities to coordinate cross functionally.

Leverage knowledge of organizational strategy and planned deliverables to assist in designing budgets.

Provide leadership support and serve as a trusted thought partner to the leadership team.

Uphold and reinforce positive team culture and health by maintaining a pulse on organization, synthesizing employee survey results, elevating questions, engaging employees, and frequently communicating plans and progress on opportunities in partnership with the leadership team.

Promote a culture of trust, growth, collaboration, and excellence within the leadership team and the organization.

Foster and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and cross organizational stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, People, Finance & Accounting, and Operations.

Develop and support a goal setting framework within organization aligning with Western Union business intent and strategy.

Track and report key leadership metrics (KPIs) to measure progress and inform decisions.

Develop and implement organizational metrics for success including quantitative and qualitative benchmarks for all departments.

Manage key/special internal initiatives while reporting program progress to leadership team including behind the scenes org restructure activities, contractor data for insurance audits, internal audit issue follow-ups, etc.

Develop communication plans, draft and review important communications including presentations, memos, announcements, reports as directed.

Manage internal communications and engagements including logistics, quarterly all-hands and leadership summits.

Prepare agendas, compile relevant data, capture insights, track action items, schedule guest speakers.

Manage compliance training completion rates ensuring a healthy compliance scorecard.

Serve as expert resource for key business processes to ensure compliance and identify/remediate deviations through appropriate channels including procurement, executive onboarding, contractor onboarding, expense approvals, etc.

Proactively identify areas of opportunity to add value, improve processes or inefficiencies to ensure wise spending.
Role Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

8+ years of technology operations management, program management experience

5 years of people management experience
-
Proven success optimizing operations and managing multiple priorities

Strong knowledge of business metrics

Exceptional organizations skills
-
Collaborative leader with a strategic mindset

Extensive experience working with C-suite executives and senior leadership
-
Adherence to maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
-
Financial services industry knowledge preferred

Recognized for results-oriented and a proven track record of managing projects from conception to rollout

Salary
The base salary range is $175,000 - $200,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
