Our customers include well-known auto makers, rail companies, and federal government agencies.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and hungry Director of Sales to build out our sales team and lead a talented group of Enterprise Account Executives. You will play a critical role shaping our go-to-market strategy and driving the growth of the company. We need you to leverage your experience as a solution seller and people leader to hire top reps, coach them in winning new business, and build an unbeatable team culture.
Responsibilities will include:
- Hire and lead a team of senior Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) based in the field
- Play a key part in architecting Cogniac’s sales process and go-to-market strategy
- Work closely with our executive team to drive growth
- Coach AEs to identify, develop and close new accounts
- Meet, but hopefully well-exceed sales targets
- Recruit and develop new channel partners
- Get excited about working in the trenches to close deals
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct sales experience, including enterprise or field-based roles
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team of account executives
- Comfortable managing complex, solution-based sales campaigns
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Can easily grasp technical concepts and convey them in a simple manner
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment essential
- Bachelor’s degree ideally in a technical field
- Travel ~50% or more (post-COVID)
