Job Description:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Director of Sales to lead and inspire a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs). This role will be pivotal in driving success across K-12 territories in the U.S. by fostering collaboration, building pipelines, and achieving growth targets. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, an effective coach, and a trusted advisor to their team, with a proven track record in sales leadership and deep knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
- Oversee team performance against collective quotas and individual sales targets, with a focus on building pipelines and closing deals
- Responsible for driving goal attainment and providing visibility and tracking to goals through use of and good hygiene with internal sales tools
- Attend mid-to-large district sales meetings to support AEs and ensure successful outcomes
- Collaborate with marketing to implement and reinforce initiatives and campaigns
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and inspire a team of AEs and BDRs, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Conduct weekly 1:1s to review pipeline, sales opportunities, and BDR activity metrics
- Coach team members on overcoming challenges, handling objections, and refining sales strategies through mock conversations and scenario practice
- Identify, hire, and develop top talent to build a high-performing team
- Strategic Planning:
- Conduct monthly team meetings and training sessions to align strategies and goals
- Break down barriers, fostering cross-team collaboration to ensure seamless execution
- Act as a field leader, supporting AEs and BDRs on the ground and navigating roadblocks
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within the K-12 sector.
- Proven success as an AE, with consistent achievement or surpassing of sales objectives.
- Deep understanding of the sales process, including pipeline nurturing and relationship-building.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills; approachable, collaborative, and solution oriented.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
