Salary range: $155,000-$185,000Job Description:
The Director, Americas Regional Marketing, for the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division will drive regional marketing strategy, campaign planning, execution, and all related demand generation activities. The role will act as a key partner to Global Business Unit Marketing and Commercial Leaders resulting in measurable impact on revenue and market share gains. This role is responsible for providing deep expertise and execution on full-funnel Marketing initiatives across the entire region including: direct marketing, telemarketing, digital and Omni-channel marketing, regional events, as well as collaborate on regional forecasting and goal setting. This role will also provide regional marketing perspective on market dynamics, market opportunities, customer requirements and pipeline. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support the develop and growth of a fantastic team!
- Support CMD’s commercial strategy, being accountable for all Americas marketing metrics and goals.
- Accountable for the marketing budget for demand generation and growth-related initiatives.
- Lead the region on developing and implementing a Digital Marketing plan to drive growth, working with Divisional Marketing, Commercial and Business Units.
- Collaborate with global and Vertical Marketing to develop annual marketing strategy and plans to achieve revenue and pipeline growth.
- Lead the commercialization process in the region, working with Sales, Communications and Product Managers to support new product introductions.
- Support and partner with the marketing and sales team to develop appropriate commercialization strategies and tactics, geared towards growth, to improve coverage and penetration.
- Implement regional marketing programs targeting segments that drive demand generation, pipeline health and new contacts for CMD.
- Drive commercial and customer value, implementing key marketing programs and product launches together with Global Marketing Operations.
- Conduct regional VOC directly or in collaboration with other Marketing functions to assess the impact of product positioning, brand equity, customer happiness and marketing efficiency.
- Share standard methodologies, effective regional strategies and high return on investment campaign approaches with the global and regional marketing teams around the world.
- Actively working alongside global colleagues to improve marketing intelligence around digital marketing, data analytics and pipeline management.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or life sciences; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years work experience in marketing with deep expertise in life science marketing and demand generation. Prior experience in global and/or regional strategy development.
- Strong technical expertise and a track record in strategy development, marketing planning, program execution with detailed execution and performance metrics.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Scientific Instrumentation, Pharma, Biopharma or Healthcare.
- Significant experience in driving campaign results targeting specific market segments that include web, search, social media, advertising, and events.
- Ability to travel 30% to 50%.
