About the location:

A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. Honoring local heritage and artfully reimagined for modern-day elegance, the resort includes residents-only facilities and amenities, a luxury spa and state-of-the-art well-being/fitness center, exquisite and diverse fine dining outlets, outdoor pursuits to include a tennis center, and an 18-hole golf course, bowling and movie theater experiences, and an exclusive private club. The first of its kind, the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is paradise found.

About the role: 

**This role will not be onboarded until June 30th 2025**

The Director of Recreation will plan, organize, and oversee the activities of employees in the Hotel’s Pool and Kids for All Seasons (KFAS) program, while coordinating services with the third-party Beach Service Company, while ensuring guest satisfaction. 

 

What you will do: 

- Be a part of the pre-opening team! 

- Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach Pool & KFAS staff, manage daily activities and planning for Pool & KFAS, coordinate with third-party Beach Service Companies and ensure that established Four Seasons’ cultural and core standards are met. 

- Engage with guests daily; build rapport, recognize by name, acknowledge special occasions and manage special requests, concerns and complaints. 

- Manage Cabana Program for the hotel to ensure a five-star Cabana guest experience. 

- Manage and Coordinate Kids for All Seasons program. Drive creativity and innovation in Pool guest experience and product development. 

- Assist with the service and preparation and ensure quality of food and beverage orders and amenities. Follow and maintain all local, state, and federal laws relating to alcohol service and consumption. 

- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control. 

- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment on a daily basis in the Pool & Beach and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed  

- Assist with the cleaning of operational areas and coordinate Cabana cleaning with Housekeeping. 

 

What you bring: 

-Pre-opening experience, project, and stakeholder management. 

- One to two years’ previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in a luxury environment, F&B experience beneficial 

- Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting. 

- Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. 

-Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. 

-College degree preferably in hotel/restaurant management, or equivalent experience. 

-Requires working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. 
-Ability to read, write, and speak English. 

-This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Day and evening shifts.
