To lead this charge, we seek a passionate Director of Product. The ideal candidate has a solid background in product management, defense industry experience, and a strong interest in utilizing technology to modernize defense logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Tagup's defense product, aligning with the company's overall goals and market opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with defense agencies, government contractors, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Roadmap Planning: Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market feedback, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product adoption and scaling.
  • Regulatory/Cybersecurity Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements impacting defense products and ensure Tagup's offerings meet all necessary standards.
  • Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on defense or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of defense procurement processes, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to engage with customers and partners.
  • Must be eligible for a US Government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics and supply chain applications
  • A deep enough understanding of basic front-end and back-end web technologies to consider capabilities and limitations
  • Experience with or interest in working with visual design tools to communicate ideas
  • 2+ years of experience in product management/product ownership for a highly operational production software implementation
