This requires strong product management competencies that puts the customer at the center of the Circle K digital experience.
That’s where you come in, we are looking for a Director of Product to join our team. This is a newly created role within our growing Digital Product team, that will be responsible for bringing parts of our Digital Strategy to life for our customers. We are looking for a seasoned Product leader that not only has experience leading and developing a product team but also understands how to navigate the intersection of customer, business, product and technology stakeholders to deliver amazing experiences for our customers. This role will report to the Vice President of Loyalty and Digital Product within our Global Team. This is a global role with scope across both North America and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic product vision, strategy and roadmap for a defined portfolio of products.
- Understand business domain and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop strategic portfolio of initiatives prioritized based on customer need and business value.
- Communicate cross-functionally and build trust with leaders across Business, Design, Engineering, and Analytics functions and customers from a wide variety of teams across the globe
- Set the example and culture of how other product managers collaborate positively with design and engineering teams; mentoring and sharing best practices for product team
- Maintain a growth mindset, always seeking ways to refine frameworks and processes.
- Build up product managers and our product development process with outstanding ways of working and collaboration
- Utilize data and user research to develop test plans and feature roadmaps to optimize on-site experience for our customers.
- Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- 8+ years of relevant product experience with experience in managing product and design teams
- Product owner certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification) a plus.
- Ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs.
- Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various business stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
