Job Summary
- This role will lead a team of Leaders in the analytical Center of Excellence, which form multi-disciplinary teams responsible for performing quantitative analysis & providing timely, actionable insights regarding activities related to Attract, Grow & Retain functions in the Customer org. This role will support and improve the business decisions of team within the Customer Org and other Commercial Teams by providing timely analysis for the day-to-day performance as well key strategic initiatives. As a key liaison to other commercial teams, this role will also socialize learnings outside of the department to drive awareness and consensus. This role will also “tell the story” of the business by provide ongoing & consistent analysis to Senior & Executive Leadership. This role will also be responsible for establishing best practices to build a high-performing team and bench. This role will be responsible for setting the Analytics team vision and strategy in support of the departmental strategy and will gain alignment with internal partners on initiatives to deliver on that strategy.

- Lead leaders of multiple high-performing analytical teams responsible for delivering complex, hypothesis driven problems in an efficient manner by working with business owners to understand contextual problem. Define, analyze, and deliver innovative solutions that address business needs and support departments strategic priorities
- Assist in developing and effectively communicating a vision for analytical Center of Excellence (COE) teams aligned to the vision of the Customer org, guide leaders to establish long-term and near-term plans as part of a roadmap necessary to meet the vision, and align talent across multiple teams to execute the plan
- Drive continuous improvement of the analytical COE by incorporating new ideas and processes to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Foster relationships with key executives, business leaders, internal customers, and serve as a subject matter expert on opportunities across the enterprise that may be addressed through analytical COE
- Maintain awareness of business needs, industry trends, and field advancements that may impact the future of COE and validate the team(s) portfolio of products are aligned to meet those future needs, trends, and advancements
- Recruit, develop, and retain individuals with the skills, attitude, and experience necessary to achieve goals/commitments as part of a high-performing, cohesive team
- Recognize achievements and advocate for career growth of leaders to build a bench using mentorship, stretch opportunities, and training plans via a skills-based learning plan
- Create an environment where debate, dialogue and diversity of thought are encouraged, expected, and welcomed to foster high morale, integrity, trust and teamwork
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
- Expert knowledge of situational and strengths-based leadership to provide continuous coaching to unveil areas of opportunity for leaders in order improve team performance and hold team accountable
- Expert knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc), relational database management (SQL, teradata) web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.)
- Expert Ability to translate objectives into well-defined plans, projects, and assignments for the team; managing the prioritization of the team’s work and making time sensitive decisions to move work forward while taking responsible risks to achieve goals, delegating authority for decision-making when needed, but sharing accountability when delegating
- Skilled in leading leaders of multiple teams to develop multiple, highly complex hypothesis driven analytical solutions in a timely, efficient manner; delegating authority for decision-making when needed, but sharing accountability when delegating
- Skilled in developing strong working relationships across all levels of the company including employees, customers, leadership, and executives, and communicate effectively to that network in a clear and concise way
- Skilled in mentoring others to enhance their use of self-confidence and emotional intelligence in crucial conversations that result in positive action or change
- Skilled in developing talent to create a strong bench with adaptability to replace key positions across the enterprise
- Ability to anticipate changing circumstances, unexpected constraints, or challenges and develop ideas, processes, and approaches through creative problem solving to meet those simple to complex challenges, recognizing the interdependencies of other teams, functional areas, and departments across the enterprise
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages dialogue and empowers teams across the enterprise to share varying perspectives to drive trust
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
- Advanced level Business Acumen in functional area
- Seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Data analysis & Working with large and complex datasets
- Visualization and presentation development and delivery
- Expert knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc), relational database management (SQL, teradata) web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
- Solving ambiguous and complex problems through a systems thinking approach
- Formally growing and mentoring talent, skills and abilities across a diverse Team
- Developing team vision, capacity plan, strategy, and roadmaps
- Building and growing a new capability including driving and managing change
- Airlines business knowledge
- Expert experience in applying data analytics techniques to deepen customer understanding or improve efficiency

Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive market salary from $198,100 per year to $220,100 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
