The Role:
We seek a highly skilled and organized Director, People + Culture to join our team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will oversee the People + Culture function for the India region and support the People + Culture team, driving strategic initiatives. You will be a strategic partner to our leadership team, ensuring that PureSpectrum remains a workplace where employees thrive and feel valued. Your focus will be on talent management, employee engagement, and compliance while aligning our people strategy with the organization's growth trajectory.
This position reports directly to the SVP, People + Culture. Attendance in the Hyderabad Office full-time is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support PureSpectrum's growth objectives in India, enhance employee experience, and promote organizational effectiveness.


Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, develop, and retain high-caliber talent, ensuring alignment with PureSpectrum's values and business goals. Create talent pipelines and sourcing strategies that support business scalability and diversity goals.


Onboarding and Employee Integration:

  • Execute and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive transition that immerses them in PureSpectrum's culture, values, and business practices.


Employee Engagement and Workplace Culture:

  • Design and implement programs that foster a positive, inclusive workplace environment. Develop engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives that support team cohesion and employee satisfaction.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including payroll, benefits administration, statutory compliance, and workplace health and safety standards. Proactively manage risks associated with employee relations.


Policy Communication and Training:

  • Effectively communicate People + Culture policies and procedures to all employees, ensuring transparency and alignment with company values. Offer training and resources to managers to ensure policies are followed consistently.


Performance Management and Coaching:

  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, continuous feedback, and appraisals. Equip managers with tools and guidance to conduct effective feedback and development discussions, fostering a growth-oriented culture.


Global Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the global People + Culture team to ensure a unified approach to HR practices and policies across regions. Align regional initiatives with global strategies to promote consistency and best practices.


Leadership Advisory:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering strategic insights on people-related matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and culture initiatives. Support leaders in driving change and managing team dynamics.


Learning and Development:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee training and development programs to support employee growth, career advancement, and regulatory compliance. Champion learning opportunities that upskill employees and enhance their engagement and productivity.


Data-Driven HR Insights:

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to evaluate the effectiveness of people initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address emerging challenges. Utilize data insights to influence decision-making and report on key HR KPIs to leadership.


Equity and Inclusion:

  • Support and champion company initiatives, ensuring policies and programs promote an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor and employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals and support organizational growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and high-performing work culture.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems is a plus (ATS, Rippling)
